PUNCAK - In a touching display of kindness, TNI soldiers from the Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) Raider 323/White Crocodile Kostrad surprised the children of Kago Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua with special gifts after a Sunday worship service at Eklesia Church. The soldiers distributed stationery and sports equipment to the delighted children, bringing joy and encouragement to their daily lives. (Sunday, 16/02/2025).
White Crocodile Sharing: Strengthening Bonds Through Kindness
This initiative is part of the "White Crocodile Sharing" program, which aims to strengthen the bond between TNI and local communities, especially children in remote areas of Papua. By providing educational and sports support, the TNI hopes to motivate the younger generation to learn, stay active, and pursue their dreams.
"We are very happy to share with the children of Kago Village. We hope these stationery supplies help them in their studies and that the sports equipment inspires them to engage in positive activities, " said Letda Chk Dani Gunawan, Task Force Pasiter.

The joy on the children's faces was undeniable as they received their gifts. One of the children, Yordan Murib, couldn't hide his excitement.
"I am so happy to get new stationery and footballs! This makes me even more enthusiastic about studying and playing sports!" he said cheerfully.
The presence of TNI soldiers in Papua is not only about maintaining security but also about building strong connections with the community and supporting development efforts, particularly in education and youth empowerment.

Recognizing the importance of these efforts, HABEMA Commander, Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, expressed his appreciation for the initiative taken by Yonif 323 Kostrad Task Force.
"The initiative of the Yonif 323 Kostrad Task Force to distribute stationery and sports equipment to the children of Kago Village is a reflection of TNI’s dedication to supporting the community’s basic needs and accelerating development in Papua, " he stated after receiving the activity report.
